Both Wheein and Ravi took to social media to announce the news.
After it was previously reported that Wheein might join Jay Park's label H1GHR MUSIC, it has now been revealed that Wheein will be signing to THE L1VE. It is a new label started by Ravi from VIXX, and sets itself aside from his other label, GROOVL1N, in that it does not necessarily sign artists relating to the hip-hop and R&B genres.
Wheein is the second artist to join the label, with Ailee having previously signed to THE L1VE in July earlier this year. Despite having left her previous agency, RBW Entertainment, Wheein will continue to promote with MAMAMOO, as reconfirmed in her Instagram post that announced her joining THE L1VE.
