SAAY is parting ways with Universal Music Korea after 7 years in the company.
On July 29th, Universal Music Korea announced that SAAY’s contract has come to an end. The label expressed their appreciation for the artist’s “incredible hard work and dedication she has delivered for the past 7 years at Universal Music.” They also thanked her loyal fans for the love they showed SAAY over the years.

SAAY shared the news via personal Instagram, where she expressed gratitude for the team she worked with. The fans can soon expect exciting projects from the artist as SAAY encouraged her supporters to look forward to “upcoming various activities and music visions.”
SAAY’s music career started in 2012, when she debuted in a K-Pop girl group EvoL as a leader and main vocalist. After the group disbanded in 2015, she began individual projects and, in 2017, re-debuted as a solo artist under Universal Music Korea. While working with the company, SAAY wrote and produced music not only for herself but also for other artists like Baekhyun, The Boyz, aespa and more.
