His style of music is typically R&B, and he has collaborated with other Korean hip-hop artists such as CHEETAH and Babylon. Kyle Lo is also inspired by American R&B and has worked with singer and producer Jword. We interviewed Lo to gain some insight on his musical journey.
Disclaimer: These are very basic questions we ask every artist to get to know more about them in order to write our "Who You" segment on Instagram. All the artists often get similar questions. We would normally not release this as it's not a full-on interview but we thought it might be good to do so.

How would you describe your music to other people?
My music is all about me - I make music that I want to listen to, and I get inspired by the songs that I grew up listening to.
Do you ever find yourself unable to express your creativity to the fullest? What kinds of things inhibit you?
I've never formally learnt music. Sometimes I want to express the thoughts in my head, but it can be hard when I can't explain it in words.
Your latest EP, "anode", mixes contrasting emotions and reflects the contradictory nature of humans. What message did you want to convey to your audience through this EP?
In this album, I wanted to express the feelings of "happy but anxious" and "joyous but sad".

Are you on the same career/creative path you envisioned when you first started music?
I'm happy because I feel like I'm on a similar path to what I dreamt of when I first started making music. Sometimes I stray from it, but I think it's the same in the big picture.
How do you want to be remembered by your fans?
I want to be an artist who inspires and sympathises with the lives of fans.
What do you think makes you stand out amongst all the other artists in the scene? What makes you and your music unique?
In fact, when making music, I don't make it thinking about which part is most popular or most familiar to people's ears. Better than anyone else, I want to express the music I grew up listening to. I think that's what makes my music special. Of course, it is sometimes necessary to understand people's tastes, though.
F.O.L (FRIENDS OR LOVERS) - Kyle Lo, Jvde Milez
Which artist(s) would you like to collaborate with in the future?
I really want to collaborate with dvsn.
What's next for you? Do you have any plans you can share with us?
This year, I will more actively present and communicate my music. Since I am a producer, I also plan to work on more songs with a variety of artists.
